The video editor you just talk to.
Klipolo is a Mac app that edits video from a chat box. Drop in raw footage and say what you want. Every cut comes back as a proposal you approve.
Free while in beta. Bring your own Meta API key. First build Nov 4, 2026. macOS 15 or later.
and this is the part I love
add captions
Done. Captions are on, in the Highlight style.
cut the ums and long pauses
Found 3 ums and 2 long pauses. That's 18 seconds, marked in red.
Say what you want
Editing is the slow part.
- You record in OBS, then open a second app to edit.
- Your recorder has no zoom on clicks, so viewers squint at tiny text.
- A 20 minute recording means scrubbing by hand for every um, pause and retake.
- Captions and a vertical cut for Shorts or Reels mean another tool and another hour.
Klipolo does the cuts, captions and vertical version in one place. You just say what you want.
Coming soon Recording with auto zoom on clicks.
How it works
-
Drop in your footage
Drag your raw clips into the Klipolo window.
-
Say what you want
Type it in the chat, like you would ask a person. If it removes footage, you get a proposal first, with the parts to cut in red. Approve it. Changed your mind? Undo is one step.
-
Export
Save an MP4 in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1.
Ask for the edit you want
Type it like a message. These are things you can ask.
Cut and trim
- cut the ums and long pauses
- remove the part where I talk about pricing
- make a 60 second highlight
- keep the part where she laughs
Describe the part. Klipolo finds it.
Reframe
- make it vertical and follow the girl in yellow
It finds the person or object and keeps them in frame.
Blur
- blur faces
- blur the laptop screen
The blur follows what it covers as it moves.
Captions
- add captions
Timed word by word, in the style you pick.
You approve every cut
Anything that removes footage comes back as a proposal. The parts to remove show in red on the timeline. Nothing is cut until you approve it, and undo is one step.
Captions, timed word by word
Pick a style. Fix any word that's wrong. English first.

Built on Meta's models
Klipolo uses three of Meta's AI models through Meta's model API.
- Muse Spark
- Reads your chat and watches the footage, both picture and sound.
- SAM 3.1
- Finds and follows people and objects. Reframing and blurring run on it.
- Muse Voice Transcribe
- Turns what people say into the transcript.
Where your footage goes
Most of the work happens on your Mac. Some of it needs Meta's models.
Happens on your Mac
- Editing
- Export
Sent to Meta's model API
- The audio
- Low-resolution copies of the video
Sent to Klipolo's server
- The audio, to time each word
Klipolo sends these so the models can understand your footage. Klipolo's server deletes the audio as soon as the words are timed. Because of all this, Klipolo needs an internet connection.
Questions
What does it cost?
Klipolo is free while in beta. The AI features use your own Meta API key, so Meta bills that key for what the models use. Editing and export work without one.
When can I download it?
The first build lands Nov 4, 2026, for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
Which Macs does it run on?
Apple Silicon and Intel Macs running macOS 15 or later.
Will it cut anything without asking?
No. Anything that removes footage comes back as a proposal, with the parts to cut in red. You approve it first. Undo is one step.
Does it work offline?
No. Editing and export happen on your Mac. To understand your footage, Klipolo sends the audio and low-resolution copies of the video to Meta's model API, and the audio to Klipolo's server to time each word. The server doesn't keep it.
Which languages do captions support?
English first. You can fix any word by hand.
Is Klipolo made by Meta?
No. Klipolo is built on Meta's models through Meta's model API. Meta did not make it and does not endorse it.
